1. Where can I find out more about the workshop? In addition to this website, please take advantage of our slack channel to post questions about the workshop, co-registration in general, or to network with other researchers. If you have any remaining questions, please reach out to the organizers!
2. Where can I find the program? The full program will be available here, with details on the conference and abstracts for all talks and presentations, as well as a schedule of events.
3. When does the conference start? On Tuesday May 10 (the first day of the conference) please arrive by 8:00am to pick up your name badge and grab breakfast in time for the opening remarks (8:30am). Breakfast will start at 8:30 on Wednesday and Thursday. Lunch and coffee breaks will also be provided at the workshop on all days.
4. What are the details on the invited talks? The invited talks will each be 25 minutes with 5 minutes for questions. The discussion sessions will have a moderator, who will ask a few predetermined questions, and then will open up to questions from the audience.
5. What are the details on the interactive ‘poster’ presentations? Interactive presentations will be one hour, and will follow the format of a traditional poster session. However, in lieu of a traditional poster, we will have interactive presentation monitors in the conference hall for presenters to connect to. You will need to come prepared to connect your computer to an external monitor via HDMI. Please bring an adapter if necessary. We will not have spare adapters. The aim of these presentations is to be as interactive as possible. In addition to a traditional overview of the project, you can present demo stimuli, paradigms, data processing pipelines, interactive data visualizations, animations, etc… We encourage creativity! Please also note that if your project does not directly involve co-registration per se, please make sure to describe the relevance to co-registration (e.g., implications for co-registration, plans for future work, potential challenges, etc…).
6. What are the details on the planned social events? The bus for the activities (either the Kayak tour or Dali Museum tour) will leave immediately after the interactive presentations on Wednesday afternoon (@ 2:15pm on 5/11), so bring anything you need (e.g., water-appropriate sun-protective clothing, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, etc. for the kayak tour). The bus will return to the conference hotel by 5:45pm, which will give you plenty of time to change and relax before the conference dinner (7pm). More details on the social events will come via email.
7. How do I get my student travel award? If you have been notified that you have received a travel award, please make sure to respond to Stephanie Dylkiewicz ([email protected]) as soon as possible and let her know if you can receive a check or need a wire transfer. Please also include a W9 form (U.S. Citizens) or W8 form (non-U.S. Citizens) by May 3.
8. What is your mask policy? We strongly encourage all participants to wear a mask while indoors.
9. If I am driving, where can I park?
10. I'm in Tampa on Monday night 5/9, what should I do? Meet up with us at Sparkman Wharf @ 615 Channelside Dr.! We'll be enjoying the view of the river/channel, a beer garden, and a number of different food options, right near the conference venue!
